This study aims to analyze efforts to improve the quality of family labor through training in skills and abilities in small and medium-sized tempe businesses in Kertosari Village in order to optimize productivity. A descriptive qualitative method was used in this study, with data collection consisting of observations and detailed interviews with entrepreneurs and family members involved in the production process. The study revealed that both structured and unstructured training had a positive impact on improving workers' knowledge, technical skills, and self-confidence. This training helped entrepreneurs understand the production process through hands-on practice. However, limitations in production tools, difficulties in entering the market, and psychological barriers to innovation remain significant challenges. The need for appropriate production techniques, efficient resource management, and marketing strategies tailored to local conditions is essential to achieve optimal productivity. Continuous support from the government and other stakeholders is crucial to ensure sustainability and greater economic benefits for the families of home-based tempe entrepreneurs in Kertosari Village.
